Registered Nurse

RN Nursing ProgramThe Nursing program at Mt Hood Community College prepares the graduate to manage and care for groups of patients in complex nursing situations, including acute care, long term care, and in a variety of other health care settings. Upon completion of the program the graduate is granted an Associate in Applied Science Degree
and is qualified to take the National Council Examination licensure as a Registered Nurse. The Nursing program accreditation is through the Oregon State Board of Nursing.

Practical Nursing

The Practical Nursing program at Mt. Hood Community College prepares the graduate to care for a diversified group of patients in various settings: including long term care, outpatient clinics, correctional facilities, and home healthcare. The program will be offered primarily online, evenings, and weekends. Upon completion of the program the graduate is granted a certificate in Practical Nursing and will be qualified to take the National Council Examination licensure as a Practical Nurse.
