Welcome to ABE/GED JumpStart
At Maywood Park!
JumpStart provides a streamlined path to get new and returning students into ABE/GED classes as quickly and efficiently as possible. When you attend a JumpStart session you will learn more about our program, complete a skills assessment, and get ready to register for classes! We have both day and evening sessions to fit your schedule.
Location: The Community Skills Center at the Maywood Park Campus
|Important! Everyone must complete the MHCC online admissions form at least 24 hours before attending JumpStart. You will receive a MHCC ID number via email. A MHCC ID number is required to attend. Bring your number with you!!! If you need help with this process, please call 503-491-6100
What paperwork do I need before I start? All you will need is a Student ID number from Mt. Hood Community College (see reverse side for instructions).
If you are 16-20 years-old: Please contact 503-491-7641 to make sure that any paperwork you might need from your high school district has been faxed to 503-491-6016. It is required that all of your paperwork has been faxed before you attend a JumpStart session.

*It's important to note these sessions are on a first-come, first-served basis. If the session you come to is full, you may need to come back to the following session. Make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes early! We won't accept late students.
