bricklayer laying brick

Bricklayers

Bricklayers construct walls, fireplaces, chimneys, industrial furnaces, kilns, and other structures. They use brick, cement, cinder blocks, stone, and marble. Marble setters, terrazzo workers, tile setters, and finishers are all included in the brick mason trade. Through an apprenticeship, you’ll receive on-the-job training in these areas so you can build marketable jobs skills.

Want to learn more about how you can become a bricklayer? We’re happy to help. Please email questions to Apprenticeship Advisor Howard Mitchell.
