    Fernando L. Fantroy Sr. has 36 years of track and field experience. Sixteen of those were spent coaching athletes at the high school level. Coach Fantroy was also the founder and head coach of Dare to Dream Track Club and Dare to Dream Sports Academy, where he coached various level of athletes for 17 years.

    During his career, Coach Fantroy has developed over 50 individual state champions, three United State of America Track and Field (USATF) Youth National Champs, 15 USATF finalist and seven state record holders. The range of his athletes’ championships was from hurdles, middle distance runners, girls & boys long distance runners and the triple jump. Coach Fantroy’s motto for his athletes is to be “DSMO” (dedicated self-motivated ones.)

    Coach Fantroy is Level-1 USATF certified. He was a volunteer sprint coach at Warner Pacific College for the 2014 track season. Coach Fantroy is the owner and head coach at The Furnace Athletic Academy LLC. Because of his vast wealth of knowledge in hurdle training and competition; he has been deemed by his athletes and fellow coaches as “The Hurdle Doc.” He has been one of the presenters at the Aloha Chat n Chew now The Nike NW Coaches Clinic for the past three years.

    Kelly Holding has 29 years of coaching experience, including 25 years at the high school level where she won seven team state championships and coached her athletes to 63 state championships and multiple state records. Coach Holding is a six-time Oregon Athletic Coaches Association Track and Field Coach of the Year.

    In her three years at Warner Pacific College, Holding's athletes earned four NAIA All-American titles in the long and triple jump. As an NAIA All-American high jumper herself for Central Washington University, Holding has a deep knowledge of the jumping events. She is USATF Level 2 certified and knowledgeable in the sprints, hurdles, and relays as well.

    Holding lives in Damascus with her husband, Jim, and has three adult daughters.

    Coach Campbell is a Gresham local, growing up a mile from Mt. Hood Community College begins his second year as an assistant track and field coach for the Saints. A runner himself, he has competed in high school and at the collegiate level. He graduated from nearby Sam Barlow High School (SBHS) and continued on to Idaho State University where he earned his bachelor's degree in exercises science. Competing as a long distance specialist, he finished track with personal bests of 30:25 in the 10k and 14:59 in the 5k. He has been coaching at SBHS for the last two years and has loved helping others achieve their goals. Off the track, Jake enjoys time spent with his dog and is a table tennis enthusiast.
