• Durable Medical Equipment Technician

  • This eight-week industry certification program trains students to repair and adjust durable medical equipment (DME). The training gives students 110 hours of foundational and hands-on experience from basic repair to complex rehab equipment. Job opportunities range from DME providers, hospitals, long term care facilities and repair shops to self-employment and entrepreneurship in the area of DME repair and service shops.


    Place: Mt. Hood Community College - Maywood Park Campus
    Date: March 11 through April 29, 2017
    Time: Saturday's 9:30 a.m. -5 p.m. and Monday's 1 - 4 p.m.
    Fee: $1,500


    Must be at least 18 years of age
    Have obtained a high school diploma or GED
