    Students completing this entry level certificate will be able to demonstrate proficiency in the graphical presentation of information and images appropriate for a typical simple website. Completers will be knowledgeable in basic computer concepts, basic web design using HTML and Cascading Style Sheets, web site design using developmental software, and digital image manipulation.

    Program Outcomes

    At the completion of this program, students should be able to:

    • Analyze a client’s website needs and propose appropriate solutions
    • Design and defend a website concept
    • Create from scratch a typical five-page website specific to a client’s particular need
    • Propose a variety of web site solutions including use of mobile devices
    • Create various imagery and graphical effects using current image manipulation software to enhance the presentation of a Web page
