    Opening Dates
    For Fall term the AVID Center will be open the first day of classes, Monday, September 21, to help with academic support. LSC tutoring services and the Computer Skills Lab will open the third day of classes, Wednesday, September 23.

    Drop-In Subject Tutoring

    Drop-in Subject Tutoring

    Hours: Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. -7 p.m.,
    Friday 9 a.m. -4 p.m., but schedules vary by subject. 
    Location: AC3300 (main area).

    Drop in and receive tutoring in many subjects throughout the day. Math, biology, chemistry, physics, accounting, anatomy and physiology, statistics, foreign languages, and ceramics, are a few options.

    Schedule an appointment with a subject specific Learning Specialist. LS's are skilled in helping a student create an individual study system and develop learning strategies for success.

    Drop in for writing tutoring in AC3333 (also know as the Computer Skills Lab). Friendly, experienced Writing Tutors are available five days a week to provide writing feedback and help you build your writing skills.

    ESL/AVID Tutors look forward to helping with grammar, writing, or oral English practice. Writing Tutors can assist with grammar and writing. Our Computer Lab Assistants will help you use English language software.
