MHCC Forums Will Help Demystify Health Insurance
What will millions of Americans need to start doing?
If you have been following the news, then you are aware of the answer: People without health insurance will soon be required by law to buy their own policies. State “insurance exchanges” – online marketplaces for insurance plans – will open Oct. 1.
Janet Campbell, political science instructor, will hold two forums titled “Healthcare Reform and You,” to help unravel the complexities of the Affordable Care Act, also known as ObamaCare. The forums will be held Oct. 9, 12:10 – 1 p.m. in room AC1502 and Oct. 10, 4:15 – 5 p.m. in the library’s Bob Scott Room. Campbell plans to tailor the information she presents to each forum’s audience and leave time for questions and answers.
The forums are free and open to the public. Parking on all MHCC campuses is free, no permit required.
