HVAC Replacement Project Completed
Posted: December 10, 2013
Mt. Hood Community College and Johnson Controls partnered on a three-phase project to replace aging HVAC fans on the Gresham Campus. Construction began in mid-August and was completed on time, Nov. 27. The project is expected to generate $4.65 million in savings over the next 25 years and make the college eligible for tax incentive rebates from Energy Trust of Oregon totaling approximately $390,000.
State-of-the-art instrumentation will continuously monitor the HVAC system and deliver just-right temperature air as needed, based on time of day and other factors.
