The newspaper reports:

“The Saints finished fifth at the NWAAC tournament one season ago and posted a 31-14 overall record.

“Two position player starters are back along with two starting pitchers.

“The coaching staff landed a superb recruiting class of 16 newcomers.

“Key players to watch include 1B Tommy Lane (Pendleton High School), LHP Jake Dahlberg (Heritage High School, Wash.), RHP Zane Bambusch (2-3, 4.05 ERA), RHP Clint Burris (4-1, 2.43 ERA), SS Cole Hamilton  (.259, 4 2B, 18 RBI) and 3B Logan Grindy (.222, 4 2B, 16 RBI).

“‘This year’s team is very athletic with good leadership on the mound,’ said Head Coach Bryan Donohue.”

In addition, Dahlberg, Lane, Burris and Bambusch made the list of top junior college players from across the nation.
