Community college and high school students can meet with representatives from 30-plus four-year colleges and universities located across the Pacific Northwest at this year’s Oregon Transfer Days at Mt. Hood Community College on Thursday, Jan. 25.
The annual event, held at community colleges across Oregon, allows collegians and future collegians to explore their options and identify the paths they can take to earn a two- and four-year degree and beyond. Attendees can learn about the various
four-year programs within Oregon and determine what school best meets their needs.
“Oregon Transfer Days is an excellent opportunity for students to connect with recruiters and representatives at Oregon four-year programs and to begin building those networks,” said Calvin Walker, an MHCC academic adviser. “That way, they can start
their studies at MHCC and save some money on tuition before enrolling in a college or university that allows them to earn that terminal degree.”
MHCC maintains several dual-enrollment and transfer degree options to allow students to seamlessly continue their studies at a four-year school, in some cases by taking classes entirely online.
