The Mt. Hood Community College (MHCC) Activity Card is used to identify employees and students as current members of the MHCC community and ensures access to College services and areas such as the computer labs, payroll, Aquatic Center and library.
The MHCC Activity Card bears the holder’s name and one or more of the following: date issued; MHCC identification number; photo; program affiliation; student or employee status and validation sticker. MHCC employees will display the Activity Card while working for identification purposes and in order to access restricted areas. MHCC students must present their Activity Card for services that are limited to currently enrolled students.
An individual receiving an MHCC Activity Card must be a currently enrolled student, an employee of MHCC or an affiliate1 of the College. An MHCC identification number from the administrative computing system is required for an MHCC Activity Card to be issued.
Individuals who cannot have pictures taken for religious reasons may receive an MHCC Activity Card with a blank silhouette. These individuals must present two forms of identification when presenting the MHCC Activity Card.
Although care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the information on each MHCC Activity Card, its intended use is for College activities only. It is not to be used as a substitute for a state or federally issued photo identification card.
1Affiliates include corporate and non-profit educational partners, educational institutions and resident vendors.
