    To assist students with accomplishing academic goals, the College supports the process of reviewing the academic progress of students. Academic progress is defined as achieving a term grade point average (GPA) of 2.00.

    1. The Purpose of the Standard
      1. To assist each student with accomplishing his/her educational goal by:
      2. Alerting the student and the College of academic difficulties or deficiencies
      3. Providing an opportunity for the College to be of assistance to the student in setting and achieving academic goals
      4. Assisting the student in utilizing the facilities and personnel of the College
      5. Creating an atmosphere in which the student may be successful in his/her pursuit of an education
    2. Academic Review and Referral
      At the end of each term, the College reviews the grade point average achieved by each student enrolled in one or more credits. If a student’s term GPA falls below 2.00, the student is notified of their academic status and any mandatory measures that may be required
