• Child Development and Family Support (CDFS) Programs


  • Child Development and Family Support (CDFS) Programs provide FREE services to those who qualify to pregnant women and families of children ages birth to 5 who are low income or meet eligibility requirements, and reside in East Multnomah County outside of Portland Public Schools. Programs include:

    Home Based, Home Visiting Services
    Pregnant moms and children 0-5 yrs.
    Weekly home visits and regularly scheduled group activities.

    Preschool classes
    Children 2-5 yrs. (by Sept 1)
    Varying classroom model options based on age and availability:
    3.5 – 7 hrs. long classes, 2-5 days a week

    Full Day Child Care for Working Families receiving Child Care Subsidy
    6 weeks. - 5 yrs. old (10hrs a day, 5 days a week).

    Full Day Student Program for Mt. Hood Community College Students taking 9+ credits
    6 months - 5 yrs. old (8.5 hrs. a day, 5 days a week).
