    How do I access my online/remote class(es)?

Students can access most of their courses beginning the first day of the term at mhcc.blackboard.com. Be sure to log on the first day of the term to check in and complete any requirements for staying enrolled in the course. Check your Saints email for updates from your instructor in case they are using alternatives to Blackboard.

How can I get help with this new class format?

Visit Online Learning for resources, helpful hints, and tips for success. You can also email onlinelearning@mhcc.edu if you need technical assistance with Blackboard, Zoom, Kaltura, MyMHCC and other technologies used in your online/remote courses.

What should I do if I’m on a waitlist or need to talk to the instructor about adding their course?

These requests can be made via email to the instructor of the course. Instructors can facilitate these approvals online. It is best to use your MHCC Saints email to contact instructors.

How do I take placement tests for reading, writing, and/or math?

Testing Services is currently closed to the public. However, there are options for determining course placement via online placement test or through other means such as high school GPA. Please contact Testing@mhcc.edu for more information.

How do I get my textbooks?

The MHCC bookstore is shipping books to students. You can also log on to MyMHCC and click “Get Books” under the Frequently Used Links list to get your personal course books selected.

Can I get emergency support or resources from MHCC?

MHCC has a grant-supported Student Success Program. Email successprogram@mhcc.edu to apply.

To be eligible for emergency resources, you must be: either a first-generation student (your parents did not graduate from college) or receive SNAP benefits; pursuing a career-technical program; low-income or underrepresented (race, ethnicity, disability, identity, etc.); demonstrating a current financial need; willing to communicate and follow up with an assigned student success specialist.
