• Group Tour FAQs

  • Is a group tour different than an individual campus tour?
    Group tours are designed for groups of 5 or more students and often include an MHCC 101 presentation or Q&A session prior to or following a campus tour. Details of a group tour vary on group size, age range, and interests. Groups can request just a campus tour, but we still ask that you fill out the group tour request form. We also ask that group tour requests be made at least 2 weeks in advance.

    Is there a minimum or maximum group size allowed for group tours?
    The minimum requirement for a group tour is 5 students. If your group is larger than 60 students, we please ask that you give us 3-4 weeks' notice so that we may make proper staffing arrangements.

    What information should I provide when requesting a group tour?
    Please provide the following info when filling out the group tour request form:

    • Requested Date(s) and Times (arrival & departure)
    • Group Size (number of students and Chaperones)
    • Grade(s) of Students in Group
    • Needed Accommodations

    Late/Cancellation Policy

    Group Tours: Please notify our Student Recruitment office if you need to cancel, re-schedule, or will be late for your tour at least 24 hours in advance by calling Amanda L. Miller at 503-491-7168 or emailing Amanda.Milller@mhcc.edu. Late arrivals may receive a modified agenda.
