If you graduated from high school within the last seven years, we may be able to use your high school history to determine your course placement. Please complete the High School History form and include an attachment of your unofficial high school transcript. After submission, one of our Testing Services staff will reach out to you and let you know what reading, writing and math classes you
placed into.
If you are dissatisfied with your placement levels, you can choose to take the placement test either in-person or remotely from home. Remote testing is offered through an online proctoring service called Examity and is available 24 hours a day. In person
testing is available Monday-Friday from 8-4:00. Both options are available by appointment only.
What is required to take the test remotely?
In order to take the test from home using Examity, you must have access to a laptop or desktop computer with a web cam, microphone, speakers and a stable internet connection. You must also
be able to test in a closed room without any interruptions.
How do I request to take the CPT?
Please complete the College Placement Test Request Form. Testing Staff will respond to your request by email within one business day.
