The LSC offers something to help everyone succeed, whether you need individual help with subject content or better study skills. Drop-in tutoring is available in a variety of subjects throughout the day.

The place on campus to get support registering for classes, completing the FAFSA, accessing online resources, and more!

Student Basic Needs Support Services
MHCC's Student Basic Needs program and other departments offer support with access to food, technology, transportation, housing resources, free emergency money, and more. We can also help you get connected to available government benefits and assistance programs, if eligible.

AVID
AVID systemically address the goals of increased learning, persistence, completion and success in and beyond college. The AVID Center on campus is your partner to success. Stop by and find out what they can do to help you achieve your goals.

Veteran Services
If you are a veteran, member of the Reserves or National Guard and plan to take classes, you may be eligible for educational benefits through the Department of Veterans' Affairs or Oregon Department of Veteran Affairs. Benefits may also be available to eligible spouses and/or children of veterans.

Library
The Mt. Hood Community College Library has a wide variety of books, tools, for student and community use. Faculty Librarians are also available to help you find the resources you need.

Financial Aid
Financial aid is money provided to help bridge the gap between your own resources and the amount needed to pay for the cost of attending college. Please visit the Financial Aid office with any questions.

Accessible Education Services
Accessible Education Services coordinates all auxiliary aids and services for persons with disabilities at Mt. Hood Community College. These services may include interpreters for deaf students, note taking assistance, readers, taping of textbooks, lab modification, etc.

Multicultural & Diversity Resource Center
The Multicultural & Diversity Resource Center provides a welcoming, safe, culturally respectful, and collaborative learning environment that serves all members of the MHCC community. The DRC embodies the fundamental advantages of an education that values difference, equality, and inclusion through creating social connection between different populations. The DRC empowers students to thrive in a global community where diversity, by definition, is fluid and changing.

TRiO College First
The mission of the TRIO College First project is to identify eligible youth with the potential for postsecondary education and encourage them to complete high school and enroll in the college or university of their choice.

TRiO Student Support Services
TRIO Student Support Services is a federally funded grant program that has been serving students at MHCC since Fall 2001. The goal of SSS is to increase the college retention and graduation rates of its participants and facilitate the process of transition from one level of higher education to the next. It is designed to provide academic and ancillary support to low-income students, first generation college students, and students with disabilities.
