Rockwall opening January 9, 2023.
Mt. Hood Community College's indoor Rockwall has 2,000 square feet of climbing and features 20 top rope stations, two roofs, a running crack, and a chimney. The climbing wall routes are designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced climbers. Our
climbing staff will ensure a fun and safe time for all participants. The climbing wall is available to MHCC students/staff as well as community members of all ages.

Classes
The Health and Physical Education Department at Mt. Hood Community College also offers an Introduction to Indoor Gym Climbing course for credit/audit each term. In addition, the department offers outdoor rock climbing credit classes for beginning and
intermediate climbers.
Belay Certification:
Already know how to belay? Take a test with a Rockwall Monitor to be certified at our climbing wall.
Want to learn but don't have the time for a full term class? Take one of our Belay Clinics. The next time you come in, take the test and get certified. Belay clinics are offered on Tuesday and Wednesday starting at 6:00 p.m. and last about 2 hours.

Policies
Download Liability Form
- All patrons must completely fill out a Rockwall Liability Release Form and be on file before climbing. A legal parent or guardian must sign the Rockwall Liability Release Form before anyone under the age of 18 years old will be allowed to climb.
- Climbers must be at least 14 years of age to belay.
- All children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult who remains in the climbing area.
