Apply for TRIO-SSS
You can now apply for the 2023-24 program year. If you think you would be a good fit for TRIO-Student Support Services (TRIO-SSS), we want you to apply! You do need to meet the program requirements listed below. Not sure if TRIO-SSS is right for you? Email TRIO-SSS staff or call 503-491-7688.
TRIO-SSS program requirements
You meet at least one of these three criteria:
- You are the a first-generation college student. (I.e., your parent or guardian did not obtain a bachelor's degree.)
- You are a low-income student.
- You have a documented disability.
In addition, the following must be true:
- You want to earn your associate degree or certificate from MHCC and then transfer to a four-year college to pursue your bachelor’s degree.
- You would like help with school.
- You meet the residency requirements to receive student aid.
