If you completed reading, writing and/or math classes at another college, you may not need to take the College Placement test. Please contact your previous school to request that they send an official copy of your transcript to MHCC. One of our admissions
staff will evaluate your transcript and add those courses to your MHCC record.
Details about the transfer process can be found at www.mhcc.edu/TransferToMHCC. Carefully follow the instructions on this page to expedite the evaluation of your transcript(s) so that your registration will not be delayed.
If it is determined that, after your transcript is evaluated, you still need to take one or more parts of the placement test, please know that during the pandemic, most testing is being offered remotely. Remote testing requires that you have access to
a computer that has a webcam, microphone, speakers and a stable internet connection. Chromebooks have limited compatibility. Please let us know if you plan to take your exam using a Chromebook.
How do I request a placement test?
Please complete the College Placement Test Request Form. Testing Staff will respond to your request by email within one business day.
