MHCC Art Gallery

If you love art, our degree in art can help you pursue several careers, such as curator, art director, or fashion designer. You can take courses on drawing, painting, ceramics, basic design, and more. If you want to transfer to a four-year school, you can work with an advisor to select the best courses to help you earn your bachelor’s degree.

The Experience

Program Details

You can complete your Associate of Science degree in art at Mt. Hood Community College in just two years as a full-time student. You’ll learn foundational skills in art while also being able to explore your interests, from drawing to sculpture or ceramics. You'll also be prepared to transfer to a four-year school to finish your bachelor's degree if you choose.

Your future

Once you complete your associate degree at MHCC, you may want to continue at a four-year university to complete your bachelor’s degree. You should work with your transfer school of choice and an MHCC advisor to make sure the courses you are taking at MHCC will transfer easily.
