Bridge Student Orientation Course
The Bridge orientation course is offered three times each year to help new and returning students prepare for Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. If you are new to MHCC, or are restarting after a break, we are here to help you succeed!
Starting or returning to college can be tough and you may be uncertain about taking classes, finding help when you need it, or getting answers to your questions. The Bridge orientation course is a great way to learn all that and more!
What is Bridge?
Bridge is a free, interactive, and fun orientation event offered both in-person at our Gresham campus and online via Zoom. The curriculum is designed to help you get prepared and maximize your success.
After the event is over, you continue learning through our online Blackboard course at your own pace. Whether you attend in-person or online, we work together so you learn important tips about taking classes and being a successful student at MHCC, including:
- Discovering all the hidden things no one tells you about going to college.
- Learning how to use required technology tools so you can be successful while taking classes in-person or online.
- Making connections with staff and other students.
- Learning how to access campus resources and departments.
Plus, attendees may be eligible for MHCC swag and awesome door prizes!
