Criminal Justice Administration
The Criminal Justice program at Mt. Hood Community College includes the study of laws, procedures, institutions, and policies involved before, during, and after a crime occurs. In the U.S., the criminal justice system basically breaks down into three areas: law enforcement, the court system, and corrections. Some jobs in the field require an associate degree or higher, and some may need a four-year degree.

While you pursue your Criminal Justice major you can complete elective courses toward your associate degree. You are encouraged to work with a university transfer advisor to ensure transferability of courses to a four-year school.
How To Get Started
You can start the Criminal Justice Administration program during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
