MHCC offers a quality education, professional instructors with related work experience and up-to-date facilities. Best of all, the cost of attending two years at MHCC is significantly less for international students than attending their freshman and sophomore years at a four-year university.

  • Dual High School Completion

    Take classes that count for both a high school diploma and university transfer!

    International students in this program complete the requirements for an Oregon State high school diploma and their associate's degree at the same time through dual-credit courses. Save time and money by transferring to Mt. Hood Community College after 10th (Year 1) or 11th Grade (Year 2).     Intensive English for College and Careers

    The IECC program at Mt. Hood Community College provides English language instruction for students who need to improve their speaking, pronunciation, reading and writing skills for college or for work. The courses are taught by professional English language teachers with masters degrees in TESOL, many years of experience, and cross cultural or international experience.

    We want you to be successful while you are at MHCC! Our International Student Program will help connect you with tutoring services and academic advisers to help ensure you are on the right track.
    International Students Housing


    We are happy to offer assistance to international students arranging for housing while they attend MHCC. All students are encouraged to live with a host family when they first arrive unless they already have friends or family in the area.
