Intensive English for College and Careers The IECC program at Mt. Hood Community College provides English language instruction for students who need to improve their speaking, pronunciation, reading and writing skills for college or for work. The courses are taught by professional English language teachers with masters degrees in TESOL, many years of experience, and cross cultural or international experience.
Support Services We want you to be successful while you are at MHCC! Our International Student Program will help connect you with tutoring services and academic advisers to help ensure you are on the right track.
Housing We are happy to offer assistance to international students arranging for housing while they attend MHCC. All students are encouraged to live with a host family when they first arrive unless they already have friends or family in the area.
