Men's Basketball

The Saints are consistently one of the top programs in the NWAC and were ranked as high as seventh in 2022. Their success has been built around the foundation of strong academics, solid citizenship, and excellent basketball skills. The goals of our program continue to be 100% graduation team unity, and striving for continuous improvement. Using a team oriented offense and defense, study halls, weight training, and community service, the MHCC Men's Basketball program develops the entire person.

Wilson is the MVP of the Southern Region

Will Wilson had one of the most impressive season ever by a Saint and was named the Southern Region MVP for his phenomenal play this past season. Wilson led the NWAC in scoring at 27.1 points per game and averaged 6.7 boards a game. Wayne Hampton was named to the Southern Region All-Freshman Team and the All-Defensive Team after averaging 15.1 points per game and 3.5 assists per game.

Wilson and Hampton led the Saints to a fourth-place tie with Umpqua in the South and after playing five games in seven days, the Saints lost to the Riverhawks 85-79 in a play-off game for the final spot in the NWAC Championship Basketball Tournament.
