Bachelor of Applied Science in Cybersecurity
Beginning fall 2024, MHCC will offer a Bachelor of Applied Science in cybersecurity. MHCC will be the only community college in the state to provide this program.
The Experience
Program Details
The program's curriculum includes essential cybersecurity topics, ensuring that graduates are well-prepared for the challenges of the cybersecurity field. Students will learn the fundamentals of cybersecurity, mastering the strategies and techniques necessary to safeguard digital assets. Through this program, you will acquire the skills needed to manage an organization's cybersecurity requirements. You will also receive training in secure programming so you can create robust and resilient software applications. By participating in national cybersecurity competitions, you’ll gain valuable practical experience.
Your future
You'll have the opportunity to interview with top companies in the Portland Metro area and nationwide. These companies are looking to hire cybersecurity professionals. You'll also have access to internships and guest speakers. You'll apply what you know in workplace experiences and through real-world scenarios. This will all prepare you for a career in cybersecurity.
How To Get Started
