Photographers
As a photographer, you must know how to adjust apertures, shutter speeds, and camera focus according to a combination of factors, such as lighting, field depth, subject motion, film type, and film speed. You will also need to be able to create artificial light using flashes and reflectors.
Photographic Process Workers and Processing Machine Operators
In roles such as these, you are responsible for creating prints according to customer specifications and laboratory protocols and producing color or black-and-white photographs, negatives, or slides, applying standard photographic reproduction techniques and procedures.
Lighting Technicians
As a lighting technician, you will be responsible for disassembling and storing equipment after performances and installing color effects or image patterns, such as color filters, onto lighting fixtures.
Camera Operators, Television, Video, and Film
In such jobs, you work with directors, sound and lighting technicians, electricians, and other crew members to discuss assignments and determine filming sequences, desired effects, camera movements, and lighting requirements.
