  • Show how to operate computer numerical control (CNC) machinery and software, interpreting codes to shape items exactly as the blueprints require.

Courses and Curriculum

In this program, you’ll learn everything you need to know to be a competent machine tool operator. This certificate can be completed in 51-53 credit hours and includes classwork and practical experience. Students are required to maintain a minimum grade of “C” in all IMTL courses. All core courses must be completed within five years in order for the certificate to be awarded.
