Spanish is the second most popular language in the United States. Knowing how to write and speak in Spanish gives you an edge when looking for a job. When you learn Spanish at Mt. Hood Community College, you also have the opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica.

Program Details
Two years of Spanish at MHCC will give you the foundational skills to read, write, and speak Spanish. It’s also a great way to complete four-year degree requirements before transferring to complete a bachelor’s degree.

How To Get Started
You can start the Spanish program during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
