TRIO - Educational Talent Search

TRIO Educational Talent Search (TRIO-ETS) is dedicated to making college dreams a reality for youth in East Multnomah County. 

We mentor middle and high school students in 7 MHCC district schools.  Our students are the first in their families to attend college, but they won’t be the last. TRIO-ETS helps promising young people create generational change, helping students and their families build and realize a vision for themselves as college graduates.

Is TRIO-ETS right for you?

TRIO-ETS might be right for you if you are a middle school or high school student who:

  • Wants to graduate from college,
  • Is motivated to earn the grades needed to attend college,
  • Has a family facing significant financial barriers, and
  • Would be the first in your family to graduate from college.

If you also attended one of the following schools, then you may be eligible for TRIO-ETS!

  • Centennial Middle School
  • Oliver Middle School
  • David Douglas High School
  • David Douglas: Fir Ridge
  • Ron Russell Middle School
  • Gresham High School
  • Clear Creek Middle School
