Make-up, Written, and Online Course Exams
Arranging For a Make-up Exam
If you missed an exam for an in-person class, you may be allowed to schedule a make-up exam with testing services. To arrange for a make-up exam, check with your instructor.
Exams for Online Courses
In most cases, you will complete exams for your online classes remotely. If you have a technical issue or need to make up a missed online exam, your instructor may allow you to take your test in testing services. If you'd like to arrange for an in-person proctored exam, check with your instructor.
How to Schedule
After receiving approval from your instructor to take your test in testing services, use the exam scheduler to set a date and time for your exam. Use your MyMHCC credentials when prompted for your username and password.
Appointments are available during the following days and times:
- Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
If you’re not able to schedule an exam during the time your instructor requires, please email testing services or call 503-491-7591 for help.
Distance Education Exams for Other Colleges and Universities
Mt. Hood Community College Testing Services can proctor exams for students enrolled at other colleges and universities.
- MHCC charges a non-refundable $28.50 test fee.
- Please ask your school to email all testing instructions and materials to [email protected] before your testing appointment.
- You must present a photo ID at the time of your test.
- Cell phones, smartwatches, and other personal items are not allowed in the exam room. You will be provided with a locker to store these items while taking your exam.
- Testing is available by appointment on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Please email testing services or call 503-491-7591 to verify we can give your exam. You will then receive instructions on how to schedule and pay for your exam.
