There are a number of careers where knowing American Sign Language (ASL) can be a huge benefit. Those include health, human services, K-12 education, small local business, and politics.
The Experience
Program Details
Two years of ASL classes at MHCC will give you the foundational skills to read, write, and speak American Sign Language. It’s also a great way to complete four-year degree requirements before transferring to complete a bachelor’s degree.

How To Get Started
You can start the ASL program during any term. Students admitted to MHCC can sign up for classes in the program after reading, writing, and math placement requirements have been met.
